Summer Is Over, But Don't Forget.. | Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 100+

In summer, wearing SPF is kinda hard to forget, as you see it everywhere and everybody talks about it. However, when the sun starts to make an appearance less often, we easily forget about protecting our face. These past few months, my best friend has been the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 100+, and I plan to keep it that way.

I know, I know, Broad Spectrum 100? Why would anybody need that? Personally, I heard a lot of good things about this product, including the fact it is recommended to people with skin problems by doctors. I have hyperpigmentation and I need to make sure that the sun doesn't make my spots darker, so they can heal properly.

This was also the only sunscreen that I found to be mattifying and not feel heavy. It doesn't give you a white cast and it doesn't feel greasy at all. It has a thick consistency but once you start to massage it in, it completely disappears and dries out. It's even nice as a primer. It's pretty affordable and easy to get a hold of and it does the job perfectly.

Of course, you don't need to go all out and buy an SPF higher than 50, but make sure you apply it everyday, when you wear makeup and when you don't. Sun is probably our skin's worst enemy and we don't even realize it. If you take care of your skin now, it will thank you later, trust me.

Do you wear SPF daily? What is your favorite one?

  1. Ok... I haven't seen something like that and I wouldn't probably pick after seeing it is SPF+100 however you made it sound like it is something we need... As I hardly use any sun protection in a/w, if I see that product I might give it a try

  2. Ooh this sounds like an ideal SPF for everyday! I only ever wear moisturisers with SPF in through the day, so important!

  4. I do wear SPF daily, the Eucerin one I reviewed a while back, and only skip it in winter when I know I spend all day indoors working. The hard part is not to apply it every morning, but to reapply during the day...

Btw, I've tried the Catrice concealer that you recommend in a previous post, and I LOVE IT! I'm really thankful you wrote about it because it's really full coverage and it's really creamy!

  10. I'll be honest and say I skip sunscreen most of the time. Which isn't really good seeing as how I expose myself to 30 degree weather. Every day. Haha, this one sounds like a good sunscreen! Will definitely keep my eyes peeled for it!
